F1 2015 PC Game is a racing video game based on 2015 Formula One sports game season developed by Codemasters. This is the 7th Formula One PC game produced by same studio. The game was released on 10th July, 2015, and features team & driver line-ups from 2015 season, which including Autódromo Hermanos RodrÃguez. This game also features all drivers, cars & circuits from 2014 season (i.e. Caterham F1, & Hockenheimring, which removed from calendar). This is the last game of Codemasters that branded under Codemasters Racing label & first title in F1 game series released for 8th generation consoles.
These game runs on all-new version of EGO game engine, which providing a large amount of improvements to game’s physics models. The game features all-new “Pro Season” mode which is more challenging than normal game-play. Because there’s no HUD & no assist, that includes traction, ABS & transmission, with hardest level possible. F1 2015 game is also compatible with Xbox One and PlayStation 4’s voice recognition software. Which allowing players to talk with their race engineers in during the race. And ask for race information, with weather updates & Tyre status, even can request for change of Tyre’s or wing.
Unlike the previous Codemasters F1 games, that have been released in September to October and F1 2015 was released in July 2015. Previous game 2014’s F1 was regarded as more of “filler” game until 2015 game was released. The game is made completely almost from scratch after the Codemasters decided to base that version on entirely new game engine. Which said to dramatically improve both screen quality and AI’s abilities.
The final product have received a mixed reception with PlayStation 4 version. Where scoring 65 out of 100 on the review aggregator site Metacritic & 64.6% on GameRankings. On IGN praised graphics & control system. But they criticised game modes & AI.
